You will be given techniques and ideas on how to enhance your own health and wellbeing through diet and lifestyle.

Who May Be Interested?

  • If you are female and over 40: this seminar will help you prepare for the transition ahead. With risks of osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease due to the decline of oestrogen, this seminar includes tips and techniques to potentially minimise these risks through exercise and diet. Now is always the best time to start.
  • If you are experiencing symptoms of the transition and interested in enhancing your health physically and emotionally.
  • Here is a chance for you to learn more about what is happening and to try new ways to work with your transition. This is an opportunity to gain more insight, mix with other people going through the transition, try new foods and pick up some new recipes and resources.

    Cost per person is $45.00. Ticket price includes lecture notes, recipes and food tasting.

    $5 from every ticket goes directly to The Cancer Council NSW on your behalf (event No ME/05/026). Cancer Council NSW receipts will be issued.

    Why The Cancer Council of NSW?

    Cancer does not discriminate between age, sex, race or status. In NSW in 2002 there were 30,448 new cases of cancer (excluding skin cancers) and 12,338 deaths from cancer. The Cancer Council NSW offers services to those affected by cancer and their families by way of support and information, community education, advocacy, research and fund raising. The Cancer Council receives no direct government funding for their programs and relies on donations to continue their work.

    Tania has personally witnessed the work of The Cancer Council NSW and is honoured to be involved in such an important and resourceful charity.

    About the Facilitator

    Tania Smith is a qualified Nutritionist, Meditation facilitator and vocational trainer. Tania has a Nutrition practice in Caringbah and runs Introduction to Meditation workshops, Regular Meditation groups and Meditation weekend retreats.
